Search Profiles
Search profiles are the selection criteria that you set for each role. Typically, employers set them by role eg. Mechanical Engineering Graduate, or by role/location eg. Mechanical Engineering, Rockhampton.
However, they are also very powerful for information purposes. A search profile displaying only international students, applicants from specific universities; gender etc.
Default Search Profile
The system creates a Default Profile based on any criteria. This will include all program applicants, except those who registered with GradSift but did complete their GradSift profile. This is typically 10% of all applicants, who choose not to proceed with their application.
Once you create a search profile, it will display the number of applicants who meet your criteria.
FUNCTIONS:
Magnifying Glass: View applicants meeting the criteria
Pencil: Edit the search profile selection criteria
Red X: Deletes the search profile. NOTE: This does NOT delete applicants from the program.
Double Window: Creates a copy of a search profile
If you are using the Hiring Manager View function, managers can view all search profiles and their saved shortlists. To limit theshortlists a hiring manager can see, include GSADMIN in the name of the searchprofile eg. GSADMIN Mechanical Test. Managers will not see a search profile with GSADMIN.
Create Search Profile
Checking a Preference for a selection criteria gives a boost to the score of a matching applicant.
Eg. Select "Will recruit from Any University", but check Preference for "ANU". This boosts the score for applicants attending ANU.
Selection of "Australian Universities", "NZ Universities" or "Any University" will auto populate the list of universities.
Disciplines: Select from the 11 categories to the left, then highlight targeted disciplines. There is no limit to the number of categories and disciplines chosen.
NOTE: Some disciplines can be listed under a different category. Eg. Data Science is under Science, when an employer might expect to find it in Business.
Search Profile Filters
The criteria you set, starting from Location of Roles through to Education background and IELTS score, will screen out applicants who don’t meet the criteria.
Employment Sector information does not screen outapplicants. Those who meet the criteria are boosted in their GradSift scores.
If you use the Applicant Status function, you can automatically screen out applicants based on their status. Eg. ‘9’ set as Ineligible.
