How Does GradSift Work for Students?
An employer will invite you to complete a GradSift profile. That will include a URL link and a unique employer ID code.
As a first time GradSift user, setting up an account automatically links your details to that employer. You create a profile with some general information along with academic background, work experiences and any extra-curricular activities. It should take no more than ten minutes. There is no document upload.
Some employers might ask you to self-record and add an introduction video. The employer will assess your video to refine their shortlist. There's no ai in this step. We think that's still best handled by an experienced recruiter.
The employer will set a closing date for all applicants to complete their profiles. Once that's done you will hear directly from the employer re next steps.
Of course, you can edit your profile at any stage or completely remove your details.
If more than one employer invites you to complete a profile, simply add their unique employer ID code and that's it. Nothing more, unless you want to update your profile or add a different video (if the employer has asked for that).
No employer (or anyone else) can access your information without you first giving them permission.
